OUTREACHES, NIASSA, ZAMBEZIA AND NAMPULA PROVINCES
The Journey begins after the Evangelistic conference in Lichinga city where Rolland Baker preached on the first night and a child who was born deaf and mute was brought by his friend. Heidi Baker was also praying for a boy who was deaf and dumb and was completely healed. His ears opened, his tongue was loosed and he started to repeat the words he heard saying Yesu! Yesu! Santo!  The man who brought him began to scream and clapping his hands and said Santo can hear and speak!!! Thank you Jesus!

We started the outreach by driving six hours into the bush near the Niassa reserve to reach the Yao people. The village had never had the gospel preach to them.  Yao is their language, we were blessed by the Jesus Film project leaders John and Arnold who gave us DVD's of all the languages around here, one night was awesome, many people showed up for the film and came to hear what we have to say.  We arrived at night and the next day went to se the mayor of the village.  I told the team in the morning that I feel the favor of the Lord on us, as we talked to this man he gave us permission to preach and he let us use the platform he uses for his meetings with his Village people.  Everything was free because the favor of God was on us. Many people showed up that night to hear and to see, their curiosity brought them to the Kingdom of God. The Holy Spirit causes hunger in their souls and they were the most receptive people I have ever seen!  I went up preached and said you are raising your hands and heads looking up to Jesus, the Lord and the King. The Spirit moved powerfully that night, people crying out asking Jesus to come in to their hearts they wanted to be free from sin.  I shared with them, a testimony from my time in Nampula province and spoke about Jesus the healer who went from village to village and told them people will be healed here tonight!  When this crowd of Yao people heard the testimony they pressed in for their healing, and the Lord healed many! A man who walked with crutches was in the crowd and when we started to pray for the sick he came forward he was helped onto the platform and I prayed for him with Peter (a graduate from the school of missions). I asked the man to give me one of the crutches and walk with one to see if he there is any change or not. The man started to walk with one crutch and as he was walking he lifted up the other and was walking without crutches - Glory to Jesus! The whole crowd saw waht happend and rejoiced with him. I got in the car and was about to leave the outreach I heard somebody knocking on my window, as I looked, I saw the man with crutches. I thought to myself as I was rolling down the window what happened?  He asked what do I do with these crutches since I am healed? I said put them on top of the landrover we'll take them. Today there is a large church in that village because the testimony of this one man. His testimnoy speard to several other villages and now according to Tanueque, the Pastor there are three churches planted in those villages. Some of you went with me on a one week outreach with me in Napula. You should know that Pastor Tanueque said the fruit of that outreach has resulted in ten churches planted, Glory to God!
 
One precious story also a result of this outreach had to do with our translator. When we arrived we had nobody who spoke Yao, which means no translator for us, so I asked from the crowd if there was someone who understood Portuguese and willing to translate for me.  A man raised his hand and he said I can translate, he did a good job translating but he was not a Christian he didn't give his life to Jesus even on the alter call that night but he knew something happened to him during the evening while he was translating and then he went home.  The next morning the man came to see me very early because he knew we were leaving for another village. He told us he could hardly sleep last night. I asked, "Why?"  He said, "When I think about what I was translating last night when you were speaking, or the message I translated last night, it made me realize how much I needed a savior! I came to give my life to Jesus." Praise God! I was able to lead my translator to Jesus at 5:00 a.m. in the morning right before we left.

We went on to the Micanhela's people are desperate and looking for something, and they can't tell what it is.  When they heard the good news of the Kingdom of God being preached they responded amazingly, it was the most inspiring thing to see!!

Nampula
In Nampula we had a tremdous crowd.  Tanueque took us to some places that were completely unreached by the gospel!  One village, has about 3400 people living in it.  We held a meeting for 2 nights and it was awesome.  The first night many people came, about 2,000 attended.  We were just a small team and after the salvation message we prayed for the sick for long time.  The power of the Lord was present for healing, we also announced that the next morning we were going to baptize people.  The people came and we had to take some time to explain to these new believers why we baptize. Thirty people were baptized that morning. The next night was the most biggest outreach we have ever done in Nampula.  Thousands of people came.  Our lights could not reach that far even our sound system could not reach all the people, I didn't know what to do.  I took a table and put it in the middle and stood on it, people surrounded me as I preached.  I preached a message of salvation telling the about the Love of God, and how we can ask him to forgive us through the blood of His son Jesus. I went on to tell them ask for forgiveness in ten years forgiveness,  even in 20 years but we all have one problem we don't know when we are going die and once we cross this line here is no forgiveness. I told them You're still alive and can still hear the voice of the Father call you home, today is the day of Salvation and forgiveness. I said "You've heard the Word and now what is your response?" They started crying out, the young and old saying, "I don't want to wait we want to make that decision tonight!"
These people were hungry and needed a touch from God, and the Lord touched them!  This village, all the people overwhelmed us, they almost knocked me over as I stood on the table they all wanted prayer, they all wanted healing, and they all wanted Jesus to change their lives.

Jamie's Testimony
The Lord speaks through His Word, "Go and be my witness to all the world, heal the sick raise the dead and cast out demons in my name, making many disciples, so that the end shall come." For me, Christ's commission was for other people.  Others who felt called or qualified to preach or leave home.  But when His spirit began to stir in my heart telling to go and do as Jesus did.  I dropped all my inadequacies and headed again back to the mission field in Pemba.  And what a better way to start, than to be apart of Felito's outreach team.  

I was privileged to be apart of this amazing outreach team.  We set out by car to reach mostly unreached villages in the provinces of Niassa, Zambazia and Nampula.  In every village we saw the Kingdom of God increased.  If we preached His whole message on salvation, healings, deliverance. His spirit backed up our message and we saw hundreds saved, maybe thousands, then we saw probably thousands healed and set free.  It was so fulfilling seeing the emotions on their faces when discovered that they had been healed.  It was priceless.  I witnessed a mute boy who was also deaf, be totally set free and speak.  His mother was jumping around for joy.  Also a partly blinded teenaged girl's eyes were totally healed and the joy on her face was awesome, as she stayed standing till the very last minute before we left the village.  Their joy was so full and it was over flowing, it seemed that everyone that was prayed for was healed.  

I witnessed all types of pain healed - from back pain, head pain, pain in the legs, in the stomach and full body pain, all healed by the power of God.  I witnessed three deaf people healed, two partly blinded eyes opened and I saw one deliverance and witnessed countless numbers of conversions to our beloved Christ.  For me God shows up when we are obedient.  He will use little old anybody as long as we believe and act out our beliefs.  Becoming hearers and doers of His word brings forth his power.  Be encouraged, God is alive!!

Nathan's Testimony
I am amazed and so blessed that God would choose to use a nobody like me to be apart of such a powerful work of His Spirit.  This outreach has been a real life changer for me.  I have seen more salvations and healings than I've anytime before.  There were probably thousands of salvations and thousands of healings in just one month.  

One of the outreaches we were on in Zambazia and praying for the sick.  As I was praying, people were getting healed very fast.  One guy pointed to his ear and I couldn't tell what was wrong but I prayed for him for a very short time and then asked him if it was good.  I couldn't understand what was wrong, but he said he was healed.  I called someone over to see what he was healed from and he told me he was deaf and now he can hear.  He was trying to tell me, but I wouldn't listen. I never seen the deaf healed as quickly as I did tonight. Praise Jesus!!

On the last two nights in Nampula we had the biggest crowds of all.  The very last night there might have been over two thousands people.  I never preached to such a big crowd, it was such a privilege.  God's presence could be felt and I would say over a thousand raised their hands to receive Jesus as Savior!!  It was so awesome!  When the sick were called to the front I was surrounded on the table I was preaching from.  God was pouring out His healing power.  The crowds were hundreds and hundreds and they were pressing in.  At least this night I had a stronger table to stand on because the night before the table was almost broke, because of the people's desperation to receive healing from Jesus.  Everyone I prayed for were healed - headaches, back problems, fever, malaria, stomach pain, eye problems and afflicting spirits.  All glory be to God who has done the work for us on the cross.  

What an amazing month it has been!  It has made a huge impact on all eternity.  Praise Jesus!!  I am thankful that God would call me and use me for His kingdom in this way.  This is the normal life in the Kingdom!!!
